A green oasis around the house makes the heart beat faster and ensures more comfort, quality and extravagance at home. At the same time, the maintenance of various gardens also means a lot of time. However, this is often missing in regular everyday life, which is why abolition is sought here. Especially when planning the property, despair often leads to the fact that the garden is not even laid out. There are various ways to benefit from a green garden without a lot of maintenance and effort. Garden irrigation systems are used here. This won’t let you down and ensures that the garden always stays green. The advantage here is that it can be integrated into the first draft of the garden and property or built afterwards.
But every garden is individual and so we do not always want to rely on standardized solutions in this area. For this reason, it is advisable that the irrigation system is also planned to measure. So that this in turn corresponds exactly to the wishes of the client, the planning should be carried out independently. This has several advantages. The focus here is, among other things, on the fact that the costs are saved by an architect. Thus, a large part of the work can be taken over by the independent drawing and planning. So the professional is only arranged at a later stage. In addition, in this way, individual and always satisfactory results can ultimately be achieved. Construction of an irrigation system
Despite individual ideas and requirements, both standardized and planned irrigation systems always consist of the same components. This in turn is either installed underground or can be set up right next to the rain gutter. However, the principle is the same as that of the rain barrel, whereby the collected water is redistributed as a result. But the only catch here quickly becomes apparent. Because if there is no rain, no water can of course be collected. This can be fatal, especially in the warm seasons, which is why this variation lacks efficiency. For this, in turn, the procedure is environmentally friendly and the costs are also kept within limits.
The builder is on the safe side when the pipes for the irrigation system are connected to the water supply. Irrigation is possible here at any time and is therefore not linked to various external conditions. For this, higher costs are to be expected.
Combination solutions are used to combine both variants. With these, the advantages of the variants are combined. Basically, the former type is used here in connection with the collection of rainwater in a tank. At the same time, the irrigation system is connected to the water supply. If the tank is full, its contents are accessed during watering. However, the smart design recognizes when this is no longer the case. As a result, the system accesses the water supply. While the costs for such a combination solution are often high, it then acts in an environmentally friendly and sustainable manner. Because here the client can be sure that no water is wasted and thus the environment is protected. At the same time, it offers an efficient solution, which is why there is never the risk that lawns and the like are not watered in time. After the acquisition costs, which were higher for the first time, the prices for the use of water reverberated within the framework and a high-quality and innovative solution was created.
For water transport: the water pipeline
Once the basis for the water source is in the context of the irrigation system, it must also be able to be used somehow. Water pipelines are used here, by means of which the water is transported from the tank or pipe to the individual components for irrigation. These pipelines are integrated into the ground. Otherwise, use for above-ground installation is not permitted. More than that, there is also a permanent risk of falling and the look of the garden is disturbed.
For the efficient use of the irrigation system, several pipes are closed from the water source, which extend underground through the whole garden. This allows water to flow through the pipelines to various locations within the garden. But here, too, the quality of the various components is important. In this sense, a material must be selected for the pipes that does not leave any particle residues, which as a result are passed on to the plants. In the further course this could namely lead to contamination and thus environmentally harmful changes in the soil. As a result, the growth of the plants is also hindered and the garden loses its splendor and beauty. If vegetables and the like are to be eaten in the garden, the focus is also on health disadvantages.
If you are building in an area where the ground is regularly frozen, it is advisable to work with insulated pipes. Otherwise, the frost can damage the tank, which leads to uncontrolled leakage of water and thus higher costs and damage.
Water distribution and the eventual irrigation
When it comes to the actual irrigation of the plants and thus the distribution of the water, there are various options available to the builder. Anyone who does not want to decide on a certain type can also rely on an individual concept. Various components are used, which can be combined with one another as required. In addition to functional points, the focus here is on plants in particular. Various types of vegetation require different irrigation options. For example, if sensitive roots and raised beds are to be watered, it is important that the components are not in the soil itself. Those elements are then located above the ground, whereby the water also has to be pumped upwards. Additional pumps are used for this, which is why a lot of planning is required when setting up an irrigation system. If you do not want that, however, it is best to use exchangeable irrigation components. In this case, the construction of the entire system is more cost-intensive, but at the same time, as a result, more flexible in use. The type of irrigation is always adapted to the plants and there is always the right application for all fractions of the garden.
For more sophistication: gadgets and tools for the irrigation system
As in all other areas of the building, innovative and smart gadgets can also be used for the irrigation system. These make it easier to use and thus ensure more sophistication. These include:
Central control units: The time of irrigation and the amount can be individually adjusted here. This is particularly advantageous in summer when the time also wants to be spent spontaneously in the garden. So the watering of the plants is certainly not in the way. More than that, there are now various innovative systems that work directly with apps. The irrigation system is simply controlled via the mobile phone.
Sensors: Sensors that measure the humidity and the water content in the soil help with correct irrigation. In this way, the irrigation system coordinates the quantities in which the plants are supplied with water.
Software: It gets particularly smart with software that has been designed for the highest level of sophistication in irrigation algae. In this way, they are directly connected to the individual components. As a result, the type and arrangement of the various plants is specified, with the irrigation system acting accordingly and always providing ideal care for all parts.
Of course, products of this kind often have a high price, but they can help significantly with efficient irrigation. This avoids stress related to garden maintenance and you can always look forward to a beautiful garden.
